So if you have a weekly meeting or some other recurring habit, you can now easily add them into Evernote to be reminded about them.Īccording to Evernote, recurring tasks was one of the most requested features by users since the introduction of Tasks in 2021.Ī seemingly endless to-do list can be daunting. With the update, Evernote now lets users create recurring tasks.Īs announced by the company in a blog post, Evernote’s recurring tasks will help users remember things they need to do repeatedly without having to create a new task every time. Simple, efficient & clean. The popular notes and task management platform Evernote announced this week an update to the Tasks feature, which was introduced last year as a new way to let users create to-do lists with dates, reminders, alerts, flags, and more. The OPEN notebook only has today's note in it.Īnd that's it. Yesterday's note gets dragged into COMPLETED (so I have an archive of when tasks were completed for future reference). I then review the new note, delete any tasks that I completed the day before (their checkbox has been ticked) and add new tasks.Īll my to-do notes live in a stack called "Actions Pending". My morning routine is to open yesterday's task list and run an AppleScript that copies the note & changes the title to today's date. And, of course, I already own it & have it on all my devices, so it simplifies my life by having everything in one app. I can move tasks around, prioritize, link to other notes, drag in emails, screenshots, etc. What I love about using EN for tasks is that is it totally flexible. I basically have a single note that contains all of my tasks & projects with a checkbox beside each. I've been using EN as my to-do list for the last 6 months after ditching Omnifocus - and I love it!
